Sanderson is seeking a senior GitHub Platform Engineer for a 6-month contract with remote flexibility in the South-East. You will build IaC/GitOps to govern the GitHub Enterprise estate, create GitHub Actions pipelines, and extend the codebase while aligning with security and architecture standards.

The role requires strong GitOps experience, TypeScript/Python/Terraform coding skills, and the ability to communicate designs to senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Strong GitOps and GitHub engineering experience.
• Proficient in TypeScript, Python and/or Terraform; comfortable with existing codebases.
• Solid CI/CD, GitHub Actions and GitOps knowledge.
• Experience using AI coding tools to accelerate delivery.
• Able to communicate designs to senior security and architecture stakeholders.
• Good collaboration with external teams.
• Awareness of identity and access management policies.

Responsabilités

• Develop the IaC/GitOps code that provisions and governs the GitHub Enterprise estate.
• Build and maintain the GitHub Actions pipelines that apply changes.
• Extend the existing codebase and contribute new code.
• Produce designs and take them through sign-off with Information Security and Enterprise Architecture.
• Take the work end to end with the Project Manager, Information Security and Enterprise Architecture.
• Evaluate and collaborate with group colleagues in Europe on a GitHub GitOps solution.
• Contribute to standards and best practice.
