Job summary

Fruition Group seeks a senior DevOps Lead to shape modern CI/CD for a government transformation programme. You will own tooling strategy, migrate from Concourse to GitHub Actions on AWS, and define standards that engineering teams adopt across live services.

This senior role requires strategic thinking and hands-on capability, with remote work and monthly travel to London. The assignment is 12 months with potential longevity.

Qualifications

• Senior DevOps or platform engineering with leadership experience.
• Proven track record designing enterprise CI/CD platforms.
• Strong AWS, GitHub Actions, Concourse CI experience.
• Experience with IaC (Terraform/CloudFormation) and security automation.
• Ability to mentor teams and define standards.

Responsibilities

• Lead the technical review and evolution of CI/CD tooling and practices.
• Define future CI/CD and Route to Live approach, migrating to GitHub Actions.
• Design reusable pipelines, templates and automation standards.
• Improve developer experience and simplify deployment processes.
• Ensure security, governance and approval requirements are baked into CI/CD.
• Provide AWS infrastructure, DevSecOps leadership and deployment automation.
• Define migration approaches that minimise disruption to services.
• Contribute to architecture and ensure secure, scalable CI/CD capabilities.
