Job summary

Star Actuarial Futures is recruiting a Senior Actuary to lead global M&A actuarial due diligence. You will steer end-to-end assessments across reserving, capital, pricing, and deal structuring, while coordinating with underwriting and executive teams.

The role offers London-based hybrid work with an excellent remuneration package and clear executive exposure in fast-paced global transactions.

Qualifications

• FIA/FFA Qualification (or equivalent) with deep GI reserving experience across liability lines.
• Proven M&A Track Record in transaction due diligence and/or risk-based pricing.
• Multitasking Excellence to manage multiple workstreams and deals simultaneously.
• Top-notch Communication skills to collaborate with senior executives and advisors.
• (Bonus) Strong capital experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead M&A Support: Spearhead end-to-end actuarial due diligence across major global transactions.
• Evaluate Risk: Apply expertise across reserving, capital, pricing, and structuring to back robust acquisition appraisals.
• Author Deal Papers: Produce critical due diligence papers covering key valuation, capital, and reserving metrics.
• Manage Stakeholders: Act as a central bridge between underwriting teams, internal leadership, and external advisors.
• Drive Teams: Provide leadership and mentorship to ensure the team hits key objectives.
