Job summary

Kent is seeking a Geotechnical Interpretative Report (GIR) specialist for an Offshore Energy project. The role involves managing incoming geotechnical data, coordinating lab testing schedules, and providing technical advice on testing parameters.

You will interpret in situ and laboratory data, derive design parameters, and liaise with the ground modelling team to integrate geotechnical data into site models.

Qualifications

• Experience with geotechnical data handling and reporting.
• Ability to coordinate lab testing schedules and advise on testing parameters.
• Proficient in interpreting in-situ and laboratory geotechnical tests, including advanced procedures.
• Experience deriving geotechnical parameters for design work.
• Collaborative work with ground modelling teams.

Responsibilities

• Managing incoming geotechnical data.
• Review geotechnical lab testing schedules and provide technical advice on testing parameters.
• Interpretation of in situ and laboratory geotechnical testing, including advanced tests.
• Derivation of geotechnical parameters for design.
• Liaison with ground modelling team for integration of geotechnical data into site ground models.
• Identification and mitigation of ground risks.
• Reporting.
