Qualifications

• Degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering.
• Experience in geotechnical design within a consultancy.
• Working toward or achieved Chartered status (ICE/IStructE or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of soil mechanics and ground behaviour.
• Familiarity with geotechnical software (e.g. PLAXIS, GeoStudio, or similar).
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking geotechnical analysis and design (foundations, slopes, retaining structures).
• Supporting and managing site investigations and ground assessments.
• Producing technical reports, calculations, and design documentation.
• Working on earthworks, deep excavations, and ground improvement solutions.
• Collaborating with structural, civil, and infrastructure teams.
