Job summary

Advance TRS in Manchester is seeking a Senior Geotechnical Design Engineer to support a strong project pipeline in the water and rail sectors. This role involves delivering innovative design solutions for various infrastructure projects while working within a supportive team environment.

The ideal candidate will have over 8 years of experience in geotechnical and civil design, alongside a relevant degree or HND. Flexible working options and a strong focus on employee wellbeing are also part of the offering.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' geotechnical and/or civil design experience.
• Experience producing GI specifications and interpretive reports.
• Background in regulated infrastructure sectors.

Responsibilities

• Deliver design solutions for shaft and foundation projects.
• Conduct ground investigation assessments and interpret results.
• Develop geotechnical design and interpretive reporting.

Experience

• 8+ years' geotechnical and/or civil design experience
• Experience producing GI specifications, interpretive reports and design reports
• Background in regulated infrastructure sectors (water, rail, utilities, highways, nuclear or similar)
• Degree or HND qualified
• Chartered or working towards chartership preferred
• Varied and technically interesting projects
