Job Description:

Are you an experienced Geotechnical or Geo-environmental Engineer looking to be a key member of a successful Geology team in Manchester?

My client is an owner-managed private company specialising in ground risk management and building fabric investigation, offering services nationwide and occasionally overseas.

The consultancy provides services including geotechnical and geo-environmental projects, soil waste management, and building fabric matters.

You will lead a project team delivering high-quality ground investigations, mentoring and developing a team of 5, reviewing project work, and supporting business development activities.

The ground investigation team covers factual reporting, contaminated land risk assessments, and geotechnical appraisal. Leadership skills and experience in these areas are essential.

The role is based in Manchester with free onsite parking, mainly office-based with some travel for client meetings, training, and business development. Approximately 80% of the role will be office-based.
