Job Role: Senior Geotechnical Engineer
Location: Coventry Area
Salary: £40,000 - £50,000

Navartis are sourcing an experienced Senior Geotechnical Engineer to work within a close-knit but growing consultancy in the heart of the midlands. This company is a specialist in waste industries including Landfill, Brownfield and Quarry sites. This is a small but flexible consultancy which focuses on a cohesive working environment and ensuring a good work-life balance is achieved. The company is on a recruitment drive looking to strengthen the team by adding a Geotechnical Engineer, Hydrogeologist and Permitting Consultant.

The key requirements for this Senior Geotechnical role are:

1. Supporting Site and Office based staff through peer-reviewed work.
2. Representing and attending client meetings to discuss projects.
3. Site investigations, Surveying and quality assurance of landfill and construction sites.
4. Technical report writing on data findings of samples.
5. Use of SLOPE/W, AutoCAD and draughting packages.
6. Project planning and monitoring of teams KPI's.
7. Risk analysis of structures and plans.
8. Analysing soil, water and rock samples.

Experience required for this Senior Geotechnical role are:

1. Previous experience in contaminated land and hazardous sites.
2. Ability to lead a team and guide junior staff members.
3. Wanting to get stuck in with all areas of the business.
4. A relevant qualification or degree in Geotechnical Engineering or Environmental Engineering / Sciences.

Desirable knowledge, skills & experience for this Geotechnical role are:

1. Hardworking, can-do attitude and solutions focused.
2. 5+ years of experience in a similar or Geotechnical Engineering role.
3. Previous experience working on landfill sites.

Working Hours: 08:30 - 17:00
