Department for Transport (DfT) is recruiting for a geospatial SEO role to support cross-cutting analysis and data delivery. You will work across central datasets, the Geography Data Store, and GIS software provisioning to enable spatial insights for transport policy and decision-making.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Spatial Data: support central provision of authoritative spatial datasets for use across DfT.
• Digital: work with Digital Service to manage the Geography Data Store and GIS licensing needs.
• Legal Responsibilities: comply with PSGA access controls for Ordnance Survey data.
• Geospatial Analysis: deliver spatial analysis to inform transport decisions.
• Geovisualisation: present insights using cartography and geovisualisation techniques.
