Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Senior Geophysics Consultant to join our Yorkshire team in Huddersfield on a permanent basis. You will lead geophysics projects, mentor staff, and engage with clients while delivering technical reports.

The role offers a competitive salary (£37,000 - £45,000), generous pension, training and development, and exposure to a wide range of European projects with Chartered consultants supporting you.

Qualifications

• Experience with technical geophysics reports and documentation.
• Mentoring and guiding junior staff in a consultancy setting.
• Client facing responsibilities and project coordination.
• Project management experience within geophysics or related field.
• Knowledge of UK regulations and standards relevant to geoscience work.

Responsibilities

• Lead geophysics consultancy projects and ensure timely delivery.
• Mentor and develop junior team members within the Yorkshire group.
• Engage with clients to understand requirements and present findings.
• Coordinate project activities and manage reporting timelines.
