Job summary

Penguin Recruitment is seeking a Principal Geoenvironmental Consultant in Sheffield to lead geoenvironmental assessments from feasibility through remediation. You will mentor junior staff, oversee site investigations, and ensure reports are robust and compliant.

The role supports a growing multidisciplinary team with hybrid working and a strong benefits package. Based in Sheffield, you will manage projects for public and private sector clients, drive business growth, and maintain high standards

Qualifications

• Factual and interpretative reporting experience.
• Live within a commutable distance of Sheffield office.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Full Right to Work in the UK permanently.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage geoenvironmental assessments from feasibility through to remediation.
• Provide mentoring to junior staff and oversee site investigations.
• Interpret complex datasets and produce clear, robust reports.
• Project management, client liaison, proposal preparation and quality assurance.
• Contribute to health and safety leadership and continuous improvement.
