Spectrum Geosurvey, based in the UK, seeks a Senior Geophysicist to lead field teams and contribute to data processing and interpretation for offshore renewables projects. The role requires hands-on fieldwork, mentoring juniors, and ensuring data quality across geophysical surveys.

The successful candidate will have a strong geophysics background, vessel experience, and the ability to train staff, with on-site operations from our Lymington office.

Qualifications

• Experience with data acquisition and processing in marine environments.
• At least 3 years aboard vessels on marine survey operations.
• Able to lead small teams and vessel mobilisations.
• Strong attention to detail and reporting skills.
• Eligible to work in the UK and hold a valid UK driving license.

Responsabilités

• Undertake fieldwork for extended periods away from home onshore and offshore.
• Lead offshore surveys as a Party Chief.
• Assist in data processing and interpretation when in the office.
• Support quality control and data management across projects.
• Liaise with clients and internal stakeholders throughout project lifecycle.
