Their highly trained team focuses on understanding site conditions for UK construction projects by conducting rigorous testing and sampling both above and below ground. Their services are essential for projects like tower blocks, bridges, roads, rail tunnels, and home extensions. Job Description

The Engineering Geologist will work on diverse projects across the country. Success requires being proactive, independent, and a strong team player. Good management skills and industry experience are vital.

Duties

• Report to the Operations Manager and join the GI Operations team to deliver ground investigation and geotechnical services for clients across the UK, including infrastructure, nuclear, energy, and environmental sectors.
• Be confident and knowledgeable in ground investigation techniques.
• Prepare Health & Safety documentation and promote a safe working environment.
• Plan, supervise, and program Ground Investigation projects nationwide.
• Log Soil and Rock in accordance with BS5930:2015+A1:2020 standards.
• Maintain accurate field records.
• Support or act as Site Agent, supervising activities and staff on projects.
• Perform in-situ testing and sampling according to standards.
• Liaise with clients, engineers, and contractors during site works.
• Manage and collate site data using company software.
• Assist in preparing monthly project financial reports.
• Write factual reports.
• Follow health and safety protocols.
• Maintain fitness to undertake site tasks across various locations, including active construction sites.
