Matchtech Group has partnered with an established consultancy to appoint a Senior Geo-Environmental Engineer in the Greater Manchester area. The role focuses on leading ground investigation and geo-environmental projects, managing delivery, budgets, and client relationships while advancing health, safety and quality standards.
The successful candidate will have a geology background, relevant degree, and chartership or progression toward it, with hybrid working and clear progression towards
Qualifications
- Significant experience in ground investigation or geo-environmental consultancy.
- Strong geology knowledge and understanding of contaminated land.
- Experience producing technical reports and handling tenders.
- Chartered status with the Geological Society or working towards it.
Responsibilities
- Design and oversee ground investigation and geo-environmental projects from tender to completion.
- Manage project delivery, budgets, timescales, contracts and commercial performance.
- Prepare and review desk studies, reports and interpretative assessments.
- Mentor engineers and support site teams; contribute to process improvements.
