Job summary

Stantec is seeking a Senior Geo-environmental Consultant to join our Ground Assessment Team in the UK water sector. You will contribute to AMP8 projects for major water companies, providing technical guidance to design teams and partners while supporting career growth within a collaborative, multidisciplinary environment.

The role focuses on materials characterisation and contaminated site management, ensuring resilient and sustainable infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Degree in Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related Earth Sciences discipline.
• Chartered member of a professional institution (e.g., Geological Society - CGeol, IEnvS - CEnv, or CIWEM).
• Experience in land quality evaluation and contaminated site management within a UK consulting environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical management and specialist input across projects through all lifecycle stages.
• Characterisation of materials and management of contaminated sites to ensure resilient, sustainable infrastructure.
