Qualifications

• PhD in ML, statistics, CS or related quantitative field.
• Deep expertise in generative modelling.
• Strong foundations in probabilistic modelling or representation learning.
• Excellence in Python and scalable ML tooling.
• Willingness to work with biological data, single-cell datasets a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement generative modelling approaches for biological data.
• Develop models with generalisation, counterfactual prediction and experimental design.
• Collaborate with experimental teams to validate computational hypotheses.
• Evaluate models for causal coherence and real-world utility.
• Communicate findings clearly to cross-disciplinary stakeholders.
