Job summary

Staffline is recruiting a Senior General Operative for a leading fruit and vegetable production site in Peterborough. You will support daily production operations, work on the line, and help with staffing, records, and GMP/PPE compliance.

Training is provided, with day and night shift patterns and transport from Peterborough locations. Competitive hourly rates apply, with overtime. This is a site-based, full-time role interested in a hands-on supervisor mindset.

Qualifications

• Senior General Operative with production line experience recommended.
• Willingness to train and adapt to shift patterns.

Responsibilities

• Operate on the production line and support daily operations.
• Sign workers in and out; assign workers to lines and ensure timely start of shifts.
• Maintain headcounts and accurate records; monitor GMP and PPE compliance.
• Assist Line Leaders and help new starters integrate into the team.
