Job summary

CrowdStrike in the United Kingdom is seeking a Sr Applied Researcher to lead development of greenfield AI that stops breaches and is powered by LLMs and deep learning. You will work with scientists and engineers to provide technical leadership, shape the AI strategy, and drive production-grade systems at scale.

You will define the technical vision, make architecture decisions, mentor teams, and collaborate with leadership to align research with business goals.

Qualifications

• Advanced degree in Computer Science or Data Science.
• 8+ years of applied ML/research with leadership.
• Deep expertise in LLMs and large-scale DL training/deployment.
• Strong written and verbal communication for senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the research strategy for applying AI to cybersecurity.
• Drive innovation in AI applications including reasoning and interactivity.
• Make strategic GenAI model architecture and deployment decisions.
• Implement cutting-edge ML/AI research for cybersecurity.
