Job summary

Anaplan seeks a versatile Principal Software Engineer to bridge frontend and backend for GenAI-powered planning. You will architect scalable AI solutions, lead MCP and agentic workflows, and deliver production-grade features across React/TypeScript frontend and robust backend services in Python/Java/Kotlin/Node.js.

Qualifications

Extensive software engineering experience in senior or principal roles.
Hands-on GenAI feature design and production deployment.
Strong React/TypeScript frontend and robust backend proficiency.
Experience with MCP, LLM APIs and agentic workflows.

Responsibilities

Architect, design, and deploy scalable GenAI solutions across frontend and backend.
Develop end-to-end GenAI features including APIs, tools and model integration.
Design, build, and maintain MCP servers and agentic AI workflows.
Drive full-stack development for responsive frontends and robust backends.
Establish LLM observability, evaluation, caching, and monitoring.
Champion reliability and performance of microservices and platforms.
Mentor engineers and collaborate with product teams on technical roadmaps.
