Job summary

Anaplan is seeking a Principal Software Engineer to shape scalable GenAI-driven planning solutions across frontend and backend systems. You will architect and implement autonomous AI agents and MCP-enabled workflows, bridging React/TypeScript frontends with robust Python/Java/Kotlin backends.

Qualifications

• Extensive senior/principal software engineering experience.
• Hands-on GenAI flows and agentic production exposure.
• Full-Stack expertise: frontend (React/TypeScript) and backend (Python/Java/Kotlin/Node.js).
• Deep knowledge of LLM APIs, MCP services, and agentic architectures.
• Strong observability, logging, and performance monitoring across distributed systems.
• Excellent cross-functional collaboration with product and design teams.
• Contributions to open-source agent frameworks or related research.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy scalable GenAI solutions, autonomous AI agents, and full-stack services.
• Build backend API services, tools, and model integrations for production use.
• Design MCP servers and enable agentic workflows with orchestration and tool-calling capabilities.
