Job summary

NTT DATA in London seeks a Python Gen AI Developer to design, implement and optimize generative AI models for production systems. You will work with AI frameworks, cloud platforms, and data pipelines to deliver scalable ML solutions aligned with business goals.

You will collaborate with engineering and leadership to prototype, test, and train AI/ML solutions, ensuring robust analytics and performance. A strong Python background and experience with LLMs is required.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software development and AI.
• 5+ years Python coding with NumPy/Pandas.
• 3+ years in generative AI models (GANs, VAEs, LLMs).
• Experience with Python web frameworks (FastAPI, Flask, Django).
• Experience in agile/scrum environments.
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience with LangChain, Vector DB, embeddings.
• GCP knowledge a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize generative AI models using frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Research and implement machine learning algorithms and tools.
• Integrate generative AI models into production systems and applications, often via APIs, microservices, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Manage and direct R&D processes to meet the needs of our AI strategy.
• Develop machine learning applications in alignment with project requirements and business goals.
• Perform machine learning tests and statistical analysis to fine-tune the systems.
• Select appropriate datasets and data representation methods.
• Extend existing machine learning libraries and frameworks.
• Train systems and retrain as necessary.
• Collaborate with engineering and leadership on design, prototyping, testing, and training of AI/ML solutions.
