Job summary

HelloKindred in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior GCP DevSecOps Engineer to build secure cloud platforms, automate infrastructure and embed security into delivery pipelines within a regulated enterprise context.

Hybrid work setup (3 days onsite is mandatory) with strong focus on IAM, security controls and auditable cloud operations. You will collaborate with engineering, security and operations to deliver resilient services and runbooks for sustainable cloud operations.

Qualifications

• Hands-on GCP production experience required.
• Experience with Terraform or Config Connector for IaC.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles and IAM design.

Responsibilities

• Build, deploy and manage components of client foundation platform on GCP.
• Engineer repeatable platform and security capabilities using IaC.
• Implement preventive security controls and guardrails across cloud services.
• Configure, deploy and manage IAM, networking, logging/monitoring and container platforms.
• Embed security into CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, FluxCD and Helm.
• Ensure compliance with Cloud Security Standards and maintain auditability.
• Produce impact assessments during change management and ensure traceable deployments.
• Maintain runbooks and operational docs for sustainable cloud operations.
