Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a GCP Solution Architect for a 6‑month IR35 contract in the UK. Role combines 3 days remote with 2 days on-site in Bristol.

You will design and deliver cloud data platforms using GCP data services and modern data architecture, with a focus on ETL/ELT, data mesh, and governance. You will lead data engineering teams, mentor engineers, and drive enterprise data products from design through production.

Qualifications

• Experience with Google Cloud Platform and data services (BigQuery, Dataflow, Dataproc).
• Hands-on with Python, SQL and dbt for cloud data platforms.
• Strong ETL/ELT architecture and data pipeline design.
• Delivery of end-to-end enterprise data products and governance.

Responsibilities

• Lead cloud modernization and large-scale digital transformation programs.
• Architect and implement data platforms, ingested data, and governance.
• Provide senior technical leadership and mentor engineers.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
