Job summary

Unknown Client is seeking a GCP Solution Architect for a 6-month contract inside IR35 in the Bristol area. The role focuses on data engineering, architecture, and cloud-native data platforms using BigQuery, Dataflow, and Vertex AI, with strong emphasis on ETL/ELT, data modelling, and governance.

• Strong expertise in Google Cloud Platform and data services.
• Experience delivering end-to-end enterprise data products.
• Leadership to mentor engineers and lead cross-functional teams.

• Knowledge of data governance, metadata, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and deploy cloud-native data platforms and transformations.
• Lead end-to-end data engineering projects across architecture, development, and production support.
• Mentor engineers and guide multidisciplinary feature teams including architects, engineers, analysts and product stakeholders.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable cloud solutions.
• Drive data quality, governance, and security throughout data pipelines and platforms.
