Job summary

IES Utilities Group is seeking an experienced Senior Project / Contract Manager to lead delivery of complex gas infrastructure projects across the UK. You will manage multidisciplinary teams, ensure safety, and drive commercial performance through all project phases from bid to handover.

The role requires extensive experience with National Gas and Cadent, NEC contracts, and regulated environments. Travel to sites across the UK is expected, with home-based work supported by national coverage.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years' experience delivering engineering and construction projects in the UK gas industry.
• Proven track record delivering complex design and build projects for National Gas and Cadent.
• Strong understanding of gas transmission, distribution and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of complex gas infrastructure projects across design and construction phases.
• Manage multiple projects ensuring scope, programme, quality and budget alignment.
• Develop and implement project execution strategies aligned to client objectives.
• Ensure compliance with UK gas industry standards and legislation.
• Provide leadership across project life cycles from concept to handover.
