About the role

This is an amazing opportunity for an experienced Garment Technology Specialist/Garment Technologist to lead and develop specific product categories (Knitwear) in all aspects of garment technology, acting as an expert in your area. Reporting into the Head of Garment Technology you'll support the development and growth of our team of Assistant Garment Technologists as well as managing the end-to-end quality of fit, construction and technical performance of our products.

What you'll do

• Develop and maintain category standard manuals, minimum measurements, blocks, construction, and quality standards
• Ensure elevation of fit and quality demonstrates excellent technical fit skills and strong written communication
• Provide technical specifications including grades and tolerances
• Leverage the use of PLM through strong data management
• Identify opportunities for cost saving through product engineering
• Instigate opportunities for fit alignment were identified with your cross-functional internal partners
• Efficient management of business-critical path achieving on time requirements by management of fit meetings
• Train and mentor team with business lead objectives and goal setting
• Risk management ensuring all testing and performance requirements are applied
• Manage product non-compliance with proactive problem-solving skills
• Develop relationships and effective communication internally and with external suppliers with strong interpersonal skills
• Work with stakeholders and peers across the business to push the boundaries on how we challenge the status quo, grow the Hush business, and how we operate with the Hush values at the forefront of all that we do.
