Job summary

Cambridge GaN Devices is seeking an experienced Mixed Signal IC Design Engineer to join our Cambridge team. You will develop GaN Power IC solutions and contribute to cutting-edge R&D in a startup environment.

Based at our Cambridge office with some travel, you will design GaN power ICs, study RTL/AMS, and work closely with the engineering and IP teams. The role offers share options and a strong benefits package.

Qualifications

• Degree in electrical engineering or equivalent.
• Strong knowledge of mixed-signal ICs.
• Experience with Cadence EDA tools and RTL/schematic capture.
• Experience with AMS simulations, synthesis and STA.
• Ability to test and characterize mixed-signal ICs in prototyping and production.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup.

Responsibilities

• Design GaN power ICs and Si gate drivers using EDA tools and simulations.
• Test and analyse wafer-level and packaged device data; debug issues.
• Produce detailed design documentation and IP development.
• Support IP management and patent-related activities.
