About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Senior Gameplay Programmer to contribute to our space combat sim, Star Citizen. You will work within a collaborative, cross-disciplinary team to develop vehicle-specific features using our proprietary StarEngine. This engine is a large-scale, multi-platform project, requiring frequent code recompilation.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and implement reliable, maintainable, and bug-free code.
2. Collaborate with team members to develop high-quality vehicular physics features.
3. Adhere to best practices, development processes, and coding standards.
4. Document and peer review technical designs.
5. Coordinate with QA to facilitate testing of developed features.
6. Support internal teams with software issues.
7. Stay updated on the latest software engineering practices and technologies.
