Job summary

Gofractional is seeking a Senior QA Analyst for a fixed-term maternity leave cover role, onsite at our Oxford, Warwick, or Runcorn studios in the United Kingdom. The successful candidate will design robust test plans, identify risks early, and mentor the QA squad to maintain high testing standards across game features.

You will work closely with designers, developers, and production to ensure issues are found and resolved before release, while thinking about system-wide interactions and edge

• Can craft detailed test plans without a guide.
• Thinks about edge cases, system interactions, and risk, not just golden paths.
• Mentors others, keeps the team sharp.

Responsibilities

• Write robust test plans for every feature - cover all paths, edge cases, and sneaky combos.
• Hunt down risks before they hit production - you know where things can break, and you find things and get them fixed before anyone notices.
• Think systemically - visualize how everything interacts across the game and its systems.
• Lead and mentor the squad - share knowledge and experience with the team, be a resource, help the team level up and keep processes sharp.
• Communicate clearly with designers, devs, and production about problems and solutions.
