Job summary

Frontier Developments in Cambridge is seeking a Senior QA Tester to test Frontier’s games across development stages, from pre-production to post-release content. You will design and execute test suites for medium-to-high risk features and perform regression and playtesting, while collaborating with cross-discipline teams.

In this role you may take on Assistant Lead or Team Lead responsibilities for project phases, mentor other testers, and help drive quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Significant QA experience in the games industry.
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Experience aligning testing with requirements, managing priorities and collaborating across disciplines/teams.
• Proven leadership or mentoring experience.

Responsibilities

• Write, run and maintain medium-to-high risk test specifications and suites for new and existing projects.
• Conduct playtesting using a variety of test personas.
• Envision user stories and gather data with provided instructions.
• Identify and report issues in a clear and accurate manner.
• Perform regression testing for internal and external issues.
• Act as point of contact for specific features, collaborating with cross-discipline teams to relay QA information.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to other testers on documentation and troubleshooting.
• Raise potential future hurdles for testing and suggest fixes and improvements.
• Contribute to product information, identify problem areas and analyze trends to navigate risks.
