Lightspeed Studios is seeking a Senior Game Engine Programmer to join the engine team and contribute to core engine systems across rendering, animation, physics and platform support. You will mentor engineers, collaborate with gameplay, tools, art and production teams, and help deliver high‑quality, scalable engine solutions for mobile, PC and console.

The role emphasizes engine architecture, performance optimization and staying current with industry advancements.

Qualificações

• Minimum 5 years of experience in 3D game engine development.
• Strong understanding of engine architecture and key areas such as rendering, animation, or physics.
• Solid C/C++ programming with knowledge of data structures, algorithms and software principles.
• Experience shipping games or engine tech on mobile, PC or consoles.
• Ability to read and implement techniques from papers or talks.
• Strong problem-solving and ability to work independently.

Responsabilidades

• Design and implement advanced game engine technologies across architecture, rendering, animation and physics.
• Develop and optimise cross-platform engine solutions for mobile, PC and console platforms.
• Work closely with gameplay, art, design and production teams to deliver robust and efficient technical solutions.
• Analyse and resolve complex performance, stability and scalability issues across different platforms.
• Follow and apply the latest technical developments from industry conferences and research papers, such as SIGGRAPH and GDC.
• Provide technical guidance, code reviews and mentorship to other engineers on the team.
