Job summary

Betty is seeking a Senior Game Economist to lead the design and codification of economic models that balance player experience with P&L across our gamification systems. This role sits at the intersection of economic design, player psychology, and commercial performance.

You'll ensure the mechanics that drive engagement and monetisation are flexible and configurable within our LiveOps platform, allowing non-economist stakeholders to make changes without compromising the underlying player

Qualifications

• Experience as a game economist or similar quantitative role.
• Experience in casino/iGaming or real-money/virtual-economy environments preferred.
• Ability to balance commercial/P&L with player experience.
• Ability to translate complex economics into usable frameworks for non-specialists.
• Excellent communication skills to explain economic reasoning.

Responsibilities

• Define metrics for gamification economic systems (loyalty tiers, currencies, rewards, progression).
• Balance engagement with margin and avoid unsustainable liabilities.
• Build and stress-test economic models and simulations including currency flows.
• Translate economics into clear guardrails for non-economists.
• Develop reusable tools and configuration frameworks for local teams.
• Create documentation and training materials explaining the rationale behind mechanics.
