Job summary

LGPS Central is seeking a Fund Accounting Manager to lead the finance function’s reporting and compliance for its investment products. You will oversee annual reports, regulatory returns, VAT, and tax matters, while coordinating with auditors and outsourcing partners.

Qualifications

• Strong accounting and finance knowledge across statutory reporting, VAT, and tax.
• Ability to communicate complex technical matters clearly to stakeholders.
• Experience in financial reporting, regulatory returns, and coordinating with auditors.

Responsibilities

• Oversee annual reports and financial statements for LGPS Central Limited’s investment products.
• Assist with regulatory returns and ensure compliance with financial regulations.
• Coordinate with auditors and support audit plans.
• Prepare financial statements for subsidiary entities and perform reconciliations.
• Contribute to tax filings and VAT management for investment products.
• Prepare Partner Fund reporting with Investments and Investment Operations teams.
• Oversee cost transparency analyses and benchmarking data.
• Manage treasury activities and cash flow forecasts; settle accounts payable.
• Supervise outsourced fund accounting and reporting providers; perform checks and liaison meetings.
• Support management with CPD and development of team members.
