Job summary

Alter Domus is seeking a Senior Officer to join our Private Equity team. You will manage a portfolio of private equity funds clients, serve as the main accounting liaison, review work and collaborate with fund administrators to produce timely reports.

You should hold a university degree (or equivalent) and a professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA, with at least three years’ relevant experience. Strong communication, teamwork and initiative are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience managing structures of a similar nature is required.
• Real Estate experience is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Professional qualification such as ACCA or ACA is expected.

Responsibilities

• Act as the main accounting liaison for a portfolio of private equity funds clients.
• Review work produced for submission to senior staff and ensure accuracy.
• Coordinate day-to-day client operations and liaise with investors and external parties.
• Collaborate with fund administrators on periodic and regulatory reports.
• Provide technical coaching to junior staff and support workflow planning.
• Ensure timely cash management and review reconciliations.
• Prepare management accounts and financial statements under UK GAAP or IFRS.
