Job summary

Aztec Financial Services Luxembourg is seeking a Senior Fund Accountant to oversee data processed through Xtract and published to Aztec Connect. You will review data quality, monitor portfolios and ensure robust controls while supporting client and internal queries.

The role requires a degree in accounting/economics/finance and 3+ years of accounting experience, plus strong regulatory knowledge and interpersonal skills for stakeholder collaboration.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master degree in Accounting, Economics or Finance.
• 3+ years' experience in Accounting.
• Strong knowledge of local regulatory framework.
• Excellent interpersonal skills are required to develop close working relationships with colleagues, clients and business contacts.

Responsibilities

• Data Review and Quality Assurance: validate data processed through Xtract, including CAS, FS and Cashflows; perform final QA reviews before publication.
• Portfolio Monitoring and Reconciliation: reconcile portfolio positions, valuations and investment data across tenants and platforms; resolve discrepancies.
• Operational Oversight and Controls: maintain internal controls and support SOP development; identify issues and propose corrective actions.
• Client Service and Stakeholder Management: handle complex client requests and collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure high-quality service.
• Training and knowledge sharing across the wider team.
