Job summary

A leading electric vehicle company in Oxford is looking for a Senior Functional Safety Engineer. You will lead functional safety activities for projects, ensuring compliance with ISO26262. The ideal candidate will have experience in systems engineering processes and strong communication skills. This is a full-time role for a 2-year fixed term period and offers benefits including a discretionary bonus and private medical plan.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of ISO26262 with experience in automotive production programmes.
• Experience in managing functional safety delivery at a project level.
• Education to degree level or equivalent or proven industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Ensure requirements of ISO 26262 are met for the project.
• Review and generate safety case documentation.
• Support development of processes for functional safety.
