Job summary

Kpler, a dynamic data platform provider, seeks a Senior Fullstack Engineer to evolve the frontend platform behind MarineTraffic and Kpler Terminal. You will lead migration to Atlas, unify monorepo architecture, and build platform-level microservices powering maps, search, and dashboards for millions of users.

Qualifications

• Proven track record architecting, building, and operating production web apps and microservices at scale.
• Mastery of TypeScript across the stack with Vue 3/React and Node.js.
• Deep experience with REST/GraphQL APIs, BFF patterns, and data persistence (PostgreSQL, Elasticsearch, Kafka).
• Pragmatic delivery mindset balancing architectural quality with rapid product iterations.
• Active experience applying AI tools to accelerate engineering workflows.

Responsibilities

• Unify multi-platform user experience by migrating flagship apps to Atlas and a shared design system.
• Design and scale platform-level microservices powering maps, search, dashboards, and preferences.
• Elevate developer experience by modernizing monorepo tooling and CI automation.
• Integrate AI tooling (Cursor, Claude Code) across the lifecycle to boost velocity.
• Architect resilient systems using hexagonal architecture, DDD, event-driven patterns, and micro-frontends.
• Mentor engineers through docs, code reviews, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
