JOB TITLE : Senior Software Engineer (Fullstack)

LOCATION(S): Edinburgh, Bristol, Halifax, Leeds & Chester

HOURS: Full-time – 35 hours per week

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at one of our offices stated above.

You’ll join a collaborative, agile team where you’ll design and develop both frontend and backend components of modern applications. You’ll work with cloud-native technologies, microservices, and CI/CD pipelines to deliver high-quality software that makes a real difference.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

As a Senior Software Engineer, you’ll:

Design, develop, test, and deploy modular applications, APIs, and services using Python, TypeScript, React, or similar technologies.

Build containerized applications using Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes environments.

Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and Test-Driven Development (TDD) practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product Owners, Architects, and Quality Engineers.

Integrate with third-party APIs and internal systems to deliver seamless user experiences.

Contribute to architectural decisions and technical governance.

Mentor junior engineers and support community knowledge sharing.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED

We’re looking for engineers who are adaptable, curious, and passionate about building great software. You’ll need:

Strong hands-on experience in both frontend and backend development

Backend: Proficiency in Python or Node.js and RESTful APIs, C#, and SQL.

Frontend: React, TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and other modern frontend frameworks.

DevOps: Familiarity with CI/CD tools (GitHub, Jenkins, Harness), Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms (GCP preferred).

Automation: Experience with automated testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Pact, etc.).
