Job summary

CC.Talent in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to build and scale a modern commercial software platform. You’ll work with Node.js and AWS, delivering robust solutions across payments, fraud, originations and financial infrastructure.

You will use AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, and GitHub Copilot to accelerate development, testing, and deployment, while upholding security, reliability, and maintainability.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial experience with JavaScript and TypeScript.
• Experience designing and building backend services and APIs.
• Experience building and integrating REST APIs and service interfaces.
• Strong understanding of software architecture and engineering principles.
• Experience with AWS.
• Experience with databases and data modelling.
• Experience automated testing and CI/CD.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS and API platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Git and modern development practices.
• Experience using AI coding tools like Claude Code, Cursor, or GitHub Copilot.
• FinTech or financial services experience preferred.
• Strong English communication skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-moving environment.
• Hands-on problem-solving and pragmatic development approach.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain production-grade applications and services.
• Use AI coding agents like Claude Code and Cursor as core tools, not just as assistants.
• Translate product and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
• Leverage AI to accelerate development, testing, and deployment while owning the code.
• Build and integrate APIs with third-party software.
• Develop integrations across payments, fraud, originations, and financial infrastructure.
• Work with AWS services to deploy, operate, and scale applications.
• Review and improve AI-generated code for security, performance, and reliability.
• Refactor legacy systems into clean, maintainable services.
• Write automated tests and ensure quality gates.
• Troubleshoot production issues and improve observability.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and business stakeholders.
• Make pragmatic architectural decisions in a fast-moving environment.
