Job summary

Flock is seeking a Fullstack Engineer in our Expansion Team to help bring new fleets, brokers, and sectors onto the platform. You’ll work with a modern AWS-driven stack and TypeScript in a large monorepo, building scalable, data-driven interfaces for pricing and onboarding.

You’ll own features end-to-end, collaborate with underwriters, pricing engineers and product managers, and apply AI coding tools to ship reliable, observable services as we grow.

Qualifications

• Proficient in TypeScript within a large monorepo.
• Experience designing event-driven backend systems on AWS.
• Knowledge of CQRS, event sourcing and Hexagonal/Clean Architecture.
• Experience building frontends with React.
• Familiarity with AI coding tools and when to apply them.

Responsibilities

• Drive architectural consistency across systems as we scale.
• Turn data and rating logic into intuitive interfaces for users.
• Own features from ideation to deployment with clear impact.
• Work with AI coding tools throughout the development lifecycle.
