ECA is seeking a Full Stack Tech Lead in the UK to own core platform foundations for a multi-tenant B2B SaaS offering. You will stay hands-on while shaping technical direction, mentoring engineers, and solving cross-platform challenges.

The role emphasizes AI-first approaches and scalable architecture, with a Hybrid work setup in the UK. You’ll work across identity, access management, and scalable platform components, using Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript and React, with exposure to AWS,

Qualifications

• 8+ years of software engineering experience with hands-on coding.
• Proven ability to lead engineers and define technical direction.
• Experience architecting scalable, multi-tenant SaaS platforms.
• Strong knowledge of identity and access management (SSO/OIDC/SAML).
• Proficiency in Node.js, TypeScript/JavaScript, React, and databases.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor engineers while staying close to the codebase.
• Own technical direction and define what good engineering looks like.
• Architect scalable, maintainable multi-tenant solutions.
• Collaborate with Product and Delivery to translate requirements.
• Provide estimates and challenge optimistic timelines when needed.
• Enable agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Promote architecture, testing and TDD best practices.
• Explore AI across the SDLC and guardrail its use.
• Balance leadership with hands-on delivery when necessary.
