Job summary

Allscreens Nationwide Ltd is seeking a Full Stack Python Engineer to join a business-critical cloud transformation programme. You will work on a large-scale Python estate, refactoring legacy code, breaking down monolithic applications into modular components, and migrating solutions from on‑prem environments into AWS.

The role is hands-on and enterprise-focused, requiring expert Python, strong AWS and Kubernetes experience, and solid SQL/data warehousing skills.

Qualifications

• 5+ years' commercial experience as a Python Engineer, Python Developer, Software Engineer or Full Stack Engineer.
• Expert-level Python development skills with strong Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) experience.
• Proven experience developing, maintaining and modernising large enterprise applications, including legacy code refactoring.
• Strong experience with AWS, cloud migration projects, and modern software engineering practices.
• Strong SQL skills, with experience working on data-intensive applications and data warehousing environments.
• Experience with Kubernetes/EKS and cloud-native technologies.
• Financial Services, Capital Markets or Risk systems experience.
