Job summary

Client Server is seeking a Senior Python Developer / Consultant (AWS SaaS) in Manchester with hybrid working. You will own backend development and work closely with clients on bespoke projects.

The role focuses on building cloud-based Python applications with AWS, including CDK, and applying modern DevOps practices. You’ll join a growing team with opportunities to shape the product and career progression.

Qualifications

• Experience working directly with clients and owning bespoke development work.
• Strong Python backend development skills, ideally with FastAPI.
• Experience with AWS including CDK.
• Solid understanding of DevOps principles.
• Full software development lifecycle experience and modern best practices.
• Business acumen from startups/SMEs; proactive contributor.
• Degree in computer science or related field.
• Active Github account and/or personal projects preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with clients to deliver bespoke development end-to-end.
• Build cloud-based Python applications and systems on AWS.
• Make technical decisions and deliver results quickly in a small team.
• Work in Manchester with hybrid/home working arrangement.
• Adhere to modern software engineering practices and lifecycle processes.
