Job summary

Medicspot, now part of Doctor Care Anywhere, is looking for a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join the Medicspot engineering team in the UK. You’ll design and build features across the frontend, backend and database with ownership from idea to production.

Strong TypeScript and React skills are essential, and you’ll work with payments, pharmacy and communications integrations. The role offers a salary band of £80,000–£90,000 per annum, with a close date of 11am Friday 21st August 2026.

Qualifications

• Strong experience in TypeScript and React across frontend and backend.
• Ability to design and build reliable features end-to-end.
• Proven track record in owning projects from idea to production.

Responsibilities

• Design and build reliable, maintainable features across the frontend, backend and database
• Take ownership of projects from initial idea through to production and support
• Work directly with product, marketing and operational colleagues
• Improve the architecture, performance, security and reliability of the platform
• Integrate with external partners and services (payments, pharmacy, communications)
• Use AI tooling to ship faster and better
• Investigate production issues and fix root causes
• Help set pragmatic engineering standards as the team grows
• Share knowledge to uplift the team
