Job summary

HealthHero is seeking a Senior Fullstack Engineer to join our Product & Tech team in Bristol on a full-time, permanent basis. You will own features end-to-end from React/TypeScript frontends to server-side integrations across payments, clinical systems and pharmacy fulfilment.

You’ll mentor engineers, collaborate with product/design/clinicians, and contribute to multi-tenant, internationalised platforms with robust testing and modern tooling.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building production web applications with React/TypeScript and Next.js experience.
• Fullstack experience with .NET (C#) and Node/TypeScript, plus REST API design.
• Experience with payments/subscriptions (Stripe or equivalent) and checkout workflows.
• Strong testing habit: unit/e2e (Vitest/Jest, Playwright/Cypress).
• CI/CD and collaborative Git workflows (GitLab) and monorepo tooling.

Responsibilities

• Build patient-facing features across Next.js frontend and server-side BFF layer.
• Own integrations with Medusa, Stripe, clinical APIs, triage engine, and CMS.
• Lead technical design for multi-tenant/white-label platform with feature flags.
• Craft accessible, responsive UI using Tailwind and component libraries.
• Champion quality with tests, code reviews, and reliable CI/CD pipelines.
• Improve reliability, performance and conversion using observability and tracing.
