Job summary

RedRock Consulting Ltd seeks an experienced senior full-stack contractor to own end‑to‑end features across the stack. You will craft React/TypeScript front ends, design Python/FastAPI or Node.js back ends, and shape data with SQL/NoSQL stores while ensuring secure, well-tested code.

You’ll ship via GitHub Actions CI/CD, run in containerised environments, and deploy to Azure, collaborating with a delivery-focused team and stakeholders across the business.

Qualifications

• 5+ years building and shipping production web apps across the full stack.
• Strong back-end skills in Python and FastAPI, or Node.js and TypeScript.
• Hands-on with React and TypeScript on the front end.
• Experience designing schemas and querying SQL and/or NoSQL stores.
• Solid automated testing discipline and secure-by-default coding.
• Familiar with Git, CI/CD pipelines, containers (Docker) and Azure.

Responsibilities

• Design and build back-end microservices and REST APIs in Python/FastAPI or Node.js/TypeScript.
• Model and query data across SQL/NoSQL stores, manage migrations.
• Build responsive front ends with React and TypeScript.
• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests.
• Ship through CI/CD pipelines and containerised deployments to Azure.
• Incorporate AI-driven development practices to accelerate delivery without compromising quality.
