Qualifications

• Expert level experience in JavaScript/TypeScript engineering.
• Experience with the Shopify platform.
• Strong experience in TDD/Unit Testing.
• Strong experience with SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Experience working in AWS infrastructure, with Lambdas / AWS CDK preferred.
• Strong communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Work across a number of award-winning client projects.
• Build end-to-end systems that extend the functionality of Shopify's engine using JavaScript/Typescript engineering and serverless AWS infrastructure.
• Apply engineering standards with a strong focus on SOLID principles, design patterns, and unit testing.
• Take part in discovery and briefing calls with clients.
• Contribute to the design and technical direction of projects from inception to delivery.
