Leidos UK & EUROPE is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (Full Stack) to deliver backend and frontend software from Farnborough or Whiteley with hybrid/flex‑from‑home options. You will design Java REST APIs, build modern SPAs with React/TypeScript, and own testability, quality gates, and deployment pipelines.

You'll mentor peers, contribute to Agile delivery, and collaborate with architects, testers, and other engineers to ensure robust, well-documented solutions.

Qualifications

• Hands-on delivery of backend and frontend software.
• Proven Java REST API design and implementation experience.
• Modern SPA development using React/TypeScript, Angular, or Vue.
• Experience writing unit and integration tests as part of delivery.

Responsabilités

• Deliver high-quality software through hands-on development for backend and frontend.
• Develop, test, document, and deploy software enhancements per strategy.
• Contribute to full-stack delivery including Java REST APIs and SPA front-ends.
• Make technical decisions within scope and ensure code quality gates.
• Maintain build/deployment pipelines and mentor other engineers.
• Write unit/integration tests and support test automation efforts.
