Job summary

Luxoft in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer to join a major transformation programme modernising equity trading platforms. You will work on real-time trading and post-trade systems, building cloud-native, event-driven solutions with Java and React across the full stack.

You will contribute to architecture, design decisions and engineering best practices while mentoring teammates and delivering frequent production releases.

Qualifications

• Proficient Java backend development
• Strong frontend experience with React/Angular
• Experience with messaging architectures and resiliency patterns
• Solid TDD practices and test automation
• Experience in Agile teams and CI/CD
• Exposure to real-time, WebSocket or streaming apps
• Able to contribute to architecture decisions and technical directions
• Capital markets knowledge is a plus

Responsibilities

• Build real-time equities trading and post-trade applications
• Develop full-stack solutions with Java and React
• Design and operate event-driven distributed systems at scale
• Create responsive, data-rich front office UIs
• Develop APIs, messaging integrations and backend services
• Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions
• Drive TDD and automated testing; support CI/CD and production releases
• Troubleshoot complex production issues in mission-critical environments
• Collaborate with product, business and technology stakeholders
• Mentor engineers and help shape development standards
