Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced full-stack engineer to join the Equity Accelerator programme in London. You will design and deliver end-to-end cloud-native, event-driven trading and post-trade systems, combining deep capital markets knowledge with modern frontend interfaces.

You will mentor peers and drive architecture decisions while delivering high-quality software through TDD and CI/CD. This role offers exposure to real-time data, distributed systems, and production readiness within a

Qualifications

7+ years of Java development experience.
2+ years of frontend development experience with React and/or Angular.
Hands-on experience in capital markets, including trade lifecycle and position management.
Willingness to learn Kotlin or prior Kotlin experience preferred.
Strong JavaScript, TypeScript, HTML, and CSS skills.
Proven experience designing and developing event-driven distributed systems.
Hands-on experience with messaging patterns, event processing, resiliency, and failure handling.
Strong TDD practices and end-to-end software quality ownership.
Experience in Agile with CI/CD, trunk-based development, and frequent production releases.
Experience building real-time applications using WebSockets or streaming tech.
Ability to contribute to architectural discussions and work independently in complex PROD environments.

Responsibilities

Design, develop, and support full-stack solutions across frontend and backend components.
Build and enhance event-driven trading and post-trade apps.
Contribute to architecture and technical design decisions.
Develop responsive and real-time user interfaces for equities platforms.
Implement and maintain APIs, messaging integrations, and backend services.
Ensure high code quality through Test-Driven Development (TDD).
Participate in CI/CD practices, trunk-based development, and frequent production releases.
Troubleshoot production issues and maintain data integrity in complex markets.
Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, and engineering peers.
Apply capital markets domain expertise to solve business and technical problems.
Mentor team members and contribute to engineering best practices.
